What should I wear for my portrait session?
It is very important to wear an outfit that feels like you and that you’re comfortable in. The outfit that you wear will help choose the location and set the mood for your photos. Before you think about wearing a lot of neutrals, consider bright colors that pop on camera. If you’re doing an engagement or family session, you do not want to be too “matchy-matchy”! Accessories like big necklaces, bracelets, hats, earrings and fun shoes photograph well. Accessories make the session look and feel more styled. Props, pets and things that are special to you really make your pictures special and warm. If you’re not sure on what to wear, do some research and look at other sessions where the clothes “popped” out to you. Pinterest is a great tool to find fun ideas for outfits and locations! Should I get my hair and makeup done? Does it really make a difference?
ABSOLUTELY! Professional hair and makeup is on the top of most of my clients’ checklists because it looks amazing on camera and removes the stress of getting ready on your own. This is the time to treat yourself! Whether it’s lash extensions or blown-out hair, professional hair and makeup will give you an extra boost of confidence in front of the camera, and it always photographs like a dream. Good makeup artists know how to get it all just right for the camera — and my clients always love the final result. If you need a recommendation for hair and makeup, I work with the best in the business and have a list of go-to stylists! You’ll LOVE them! I know they’ll take good care of you!

What happens if there is bad weather?
If you book a session during the hot months, it is best to shoot as early in the day as possible. If it is cloudy, GREAT! Clouds actually help produce even light. We will reschedule if it is raining or too dark. Click here for my view on weather and how it can affect your session.
How long does it take to get my digital pictures back from a portrait session?
It can take between 1-2 weeks to get a portrait, newborn or family session back. I will email you as soon as your pictures are ready to be picked up!
I need my pictures sooner than the 1-2 week turnaround time. Are there any rush fee options?
A rush fee can be purchased for $175. When purchased, you will receive your proofs 3 days after your session.
Do you shoot weddings, quincenaneras, debutants, bah mitzvahs or corporate events?
Absolutely! Please email me for pricing and details for coverage for these special events.
Do you backup our images? How can we ensure that our images won’t be lost?
They’re backed up MULTIPLE TIMES. The second I get home from a session or wedding, I immediately back up your images on multiple hard drives to ensure that they won’t be lost.
